My astrological journey began at an early age. I was born in Southern California to a young, eccentric mother who was always seeking new ideas and philosophies. Her quest eventually led to mysticism, which was very popular in the 1950s, and I, being an inquisitive Pisces, followed her lead, devouring her many books and publications. My studies also led me to Yoga and Eastern religions, as well as Tarot and Numerology.

 

In my teens, I became fascinated with her study of astrology. I absorbed this new ‘language’ like a sponge, riveted by the unique symbols and configurations. At that time, having no computers, a chart’s geometric calculations were done by hand with the use of an Ephemeris to inform where each planet resides on a given day and time. I used trigonometry to calculate the Sun, Moon, and planets to the exact location of a natives’ birth, and began doing readings for friends and family. By my mid 20s, I found myself teaching astrology to a diverse group of people, all beyond my years.

 

At that point, I believed this was my life’s path. However, fate had other plans and in my early thirties, I found myself pursuing a very exciting career in the Motion Picture Industry as a designer of hair and wigs. This was tremendously creative and fulfilling, yet I never forgot the ‘language’ I had learned and fell in love with in my teens. I continued to do charts for my colleagues and friends as an avocation. My knowledge of astrology helped me understand the workings of the universe in so many ways, enabling me to maneuver the twists and turns of my own career, and assist with guiding my daughter and others on their lives’ journey.

 

Since retiring four years ago, I have continued to study and increase my knowledge of astrology in order to counsel others for the betterment of their lives.

   We all experience difficulties and transformational times, which the stars enable us to navigate. My style of reading is always up-beat and constructive, to inform more positive choices in weathering one’s personal storms.

   Solar Returns are my specialty, which are charts cast for the exact time each year when a native’s Sun falls in the exact position it was at birth. This, along with progressions and transits of the planets and points of the chart enable me to give a person a detailed picture of their year ahead.

 

   Using the science of the stars, combined with intuition, I am able to assist others in following their heart’s desires; accomplishing and clarifying their goals and aspirations in this lifetime.
